DMC Light Effects Metallics
Light Effects is a glistening collection of 36 specialty threads that will add light and reflective qualities to any needlework of craft project.
These dazzling threads are available in 8.7 yard pull-skeins of 6-stranded thread, using a colour numbering system that easily corresponds to the popular cotton DMC embroidery threads. These metallic threads are washable and tarnish-resistant.
It is recommended to work with shorter lengths of Light Effects, approx 12”, to prevent tangling and to avoid fraying. The more the thread is pulled through the fabric, the more “wear and tear” it takes. Shorter thread lengths help to prevent this from occurring.
