Sheep's Silk is a delicious 50/50 silk/wool mixture, available in 149 colours.
Stock Levels
We do stock a small range at any one time (examples of the most commonly stocked colours listed below). However, we would be very happy to order in for (normally takes just a couple of days) - so please contact us directly with your requirements, by email or telephone.

Stitching Recommendations
Use Sheep’s Silk as it comes off the skein, DO NOT PLY DOWN.
For cross-stitching, it is perfect on 18 count linen over two; gives a tighter and fuller stitch on 28 count linen.
For needlepoint, provides beautiful coverage on 18-count canvas when used with a basketweave or tent stitch and performs well when used for specialty stitches.
Other uses include wool embroidery and crazy quilt stitches.
