Lodden
Lodden is a pretty fabric design produced by William Morris in 1884 and block-printed on cotton and linen at Merton Abbey. To obtain the pale background fabric, most of the blue had to be bleached out and the fabrics washed in the soft water of the River Wandle!
Design size: 11 x 14" / 28 x 36 cm
Canvas size: 22 x 26" / 56 x 65 cm to allow you to increase the background area for covering chair seats if required
