DMC Satin Thread
A six stranded divisible thread, with a lustrous sheen, ideal for embroidery, cross stitch and counted thread work.
This range, launched by DMC in November 2007, supersedes the DMC Rayon range. Compared to the Rayon range, this thread has less bounce and holds together better, making it easier to use.
In traditional embroidery, the longer the stitch the more the Satin Thread will capture the light and brightness.
In counted cross stitch, Satin Thread can be used solely or mixed with other DMC stranded threads to create fantastic effects.
With a shimmering colour palette of 36 beautiful shades, the possibilities are endless.
