The story of charlie's Ark centres on a fiver year old boy and his toy-box (shaped like an ark) in which he keeps all the many animals that come to life in his imagination ... or do they? We never see Charlie's face - or that of his sister, Sally - which adds to the sense of mystery and imagination.

Mike Payne created Charlie's Ark, and Adam Pescott drew the original illustrations, which have been turned into cross-stitch designs by Jane Prutton.
