BLACKBIRD DESIGNS LOOSE FEATHERS CLUB
The Loose Feathers Club is run by Blackbird Designs, and consists of a series of exclusive designs that are available only to subscribers but not to the general public. See below for some previous designs to get a taster of the style of these beautiful designs.
2011 Club Announced!
 The theme for this year is birds. There will be three patterns released throughout the year, planned for July, September and November (although they usually arrive in the UK a month or so after the release date). Each booklet will contain one main cross stitch piece and two small bonus pieces (the photo left is of one of the bonus pieces from the first pattern). The price for each booklet will be £8.25.
Blackbird Designs will be using hand-dyed fabrics and threads as usual. You may use whatever fabric you choose, but if you would like to use the fabric specified it is important that you sign up for this on the order form. You can stitch each design separately, in which case you will need a stitcher's eighth-yard of the recommended R&R Reproductions 30-count Irish Cream linen (cost £7.99). Alternatively, you can stitch all three main designs in a row on one piece, in which case the design size is 15 x 9" and you will need a stitcher's quarter, cost £15.98. (The smaller pieces use different linens.)
We do stock the hand-dyed threads used in the Loose Feathers designs (Gentle Art and Crescent Colours), so if you would like some or all of these for each design, do let us know and we can add these to your order.
