THREAD CONVERSION CHARTS

We have compiled a list of the most commonly requested conversion charts from one thread to another, which we hope you find helpful.  Do bear in mind that conversions are usually approximate, but aim to find the closest possible colour match.

• Anchor stranded cotton to DMC stranded cotton
  • Page 1 (Anchor cols 001 - 847)
  • Page 2 (Anchor cols 848 - 9475)
• DMC stranded cotton to Anchor stranded cotton
• DMC corresponding colours - a table showing the closest corresponding colours between the different DMC threads - useful if, for example, you have a tapestry chart listing DMC tapestry wools but want to stitch it in DMC soft cottons in the same colours.
• DMC tapestry wools - discontinued colours (from mid 2008) and their nearest equivalent
• Anchor tapestry (tapisserie) wools to DMC tapestry wools
  • Page 1 (Anchor cols 8000-9080)
  • Page 2 (Anchor cols 9082-9800)
• Elizabeth Bradley / Appletons / DMC / Anchor tapestry wools
