For those of you who already have printed or emailed workshop brochures, we've just added an extra one ...

On Wed 25th November, you have the opportunity to join a one-day workshop to make a set of tablemats - an ideal Christmas gift but of course you can use non-Christmas fabrics and make them for use all year round!

Some of you may be shocked by the ad on our Home Page, but we've been thinking about selling Thread Bear for a good year now, due to long-term personal and family concerns.  We're looking for an enthusiastic lover of quilting, needlework etc to buy our lovely shop and would welcome all serious enquiries.  Our business is thriving, and the introduction of our web catalogue over the past 2-3 years has taken our customer base from the mostly very local to international, with people ordering regularly from all over the world.  Our turnover has increased fourfold in the past 3 years, so if you're interested you'll need lots and lots of energy and enthusiasm - and one or more friends to be your partner(s) and/or staff!  Do get in touch with us if you think you might be the one!
