At least one layer of cotton batting is recommended with Insul-Bright when used as oven mitts or pot holders as the product is heat-RESISTANT, NOT heat-proof.

Price for one unit is for our minimum cut of a half metre (19½  x 44"). For larger quantities, simply increase the number of units and we will cut in one piece for you.

Insul-Bright or Oven Glove Wadding?  In comparison to our other insulating ('oven glove') wadding, Insul-Bright is thinner, with a metallic interior, whereas the oven glove wadding is thicker and more solid.. We would recommend Insul-Bright where you want quite a thin wadding with basic heat resistance, such as table mats, the oven glove wadding for extra padding and strong heat resistance, such as for oven gloves.
