A very soft 100% cotton wadding with a special surface glaze finish to make hand-quilting easier (100% cotton wadding can sometimes 'resist' the needle, making hand quilting difficult, but this finish helps overcome the problem).  Can shrink up to 4-5% on first wash - this is great is you like the slightly wrinkled 'antique' look, but if you want a dead flat quilt, then you need to pre-wash this wadding.
