Simple moss-stitch scarves from Lucy Neatby. Two versions are given, one knitted straight, the other on the bias. Minimal finishing required. Fringes or beads may be added for extra allure. 

Use any 4-ply self-patterning yarn such as Opal, Trekking, Scholler & Stahl, Regia etc - or of course you could use any other 4-ply yarn of your choice.   See 4-ply yarn ranges.

Size: 6 x 60" - easily adjusted in either dimension
Quantity: You'll need just one 100g ball of your 4-ply yarn.  These scarves may also be worked in heavier yarns; use fewer sts and appropriately larger needles.
